The executive physical is the foundation of serious preventive medicine. Done properly, it is not a longer version of an annual checkup — it is a structured 2 to 3-hour diagnostic visit designed to surface the cardiovascular, metabolic, hormonal, and oncologic risks that shorten lives, while there is still time to intervene. TrufaMED's executive physical delivers this in a concierge environment in Surfside, serving executives, professionals, and families across Miami. The visit is led personally by Dr. Shane D. Naidoo MD, our board-certified Emergency Medicine physician and Medical Director, and results in a written Executive Health Report you can share with your primary care physician and any specialists.
The insurance-based annual physical is constrained by time, reimbursement rules, and a narrow guideline set designed for population averages. It is valuable, but it is not designed to find the asymptomatic heart disease, the early metabolic drift, the subclinical thyroid dysfunction, or the cancer signal that deserves attention. An executive physical is designed exactly for those findings. The result is a current, deep clinical snapshot and a written report your existing care team can act on.
The TrufaMED executive physical is a 2 to 3-hour, physician-led evaluation that integrates the clinic's on-site diagnostic infrastructure. Components include:
Patients arrive at the Harding Avenue clinic in Surfside — walkable from Bal Harbour and a short drive from Miami Beach, Bay Harbor Islands, Sunny Isles, and Aventura. Blood draw, EKG, chest X-ray, and body composition are performed on-site in sequence. Dr. Shane D. Naidoo conducts the in-depth history and physical examination. Same-day in-house lab results are reviewed before the patient leaves. Send-out advanced labs (ApoB, Lp(a), advanced hormones) return within standard reference-lab turnaround and are incorporated into the written Executive Health Report delivered 2 to 5 business days after the visit. If Galleri multi-cancer detection is added, those results return in 7 to 10 business days and are reviewed during a dedicated follow-up call.
The TrufaMED executive physical is $1,095. The Galleri multi-cancer detection add-on is +$950, bringing the total bundled price to $2,045. FAMILY+ and SIGNATURE concierge members receive the executive physical and Galleri included as part of their membership at no additional cost; the VIP tier does not include the executive physical. The service is self-pay only — not billable to insurance, because insurance carriers bundle preventive evaluations under restrictive global case rates that do not reimburse this depth of assessment. The TrufaMED executive physical is designed as a comprehensive current snapshot of your health — not a replacement for your primary care physician. Ongoing primary care, long-term medication management, specialist coordination over time, and disease management remain with the patient's PCP. The written Executive Health Report is built to be handed to your PCP and any specialists so your existing care team can act on findings. When findings during the executive physical suggest additional workup is appropriate, recommendations are documented in the report — for example, dermatology referral for a skin lesion, cardiology referral for an elevated Lp(a), or GI referral for colonoscopy timing.

The on-site visit is 2 to 3 hours, which includes intake, vitals, blood draw, EKG, chest X-ray, the extended physician consultation with Dr. Naidoo, and same-visit review of in-house lab results. The full written Executive Health Report is delivered within 2 to 5 business days.
