Concierge medicine — also called a premier care plan or private physician model — replaces the high-volume, insurance-driven standard practice with a limited-panel membership. Where a typical primary care physician manages 2,000 or more patients and offers seven-minute appointments, TrufaMED’s concierge program limits enrollment so your physician knows your history and goals. Same-day access, direct physician texting, extended appointments, and in-residence house calls are included — none of which are available in a conventional practice.

Yes. TrufaMED’s in-residence house call service sends a board-certified physician to your Bal Harbour address — whether that is Bal Harbour Towers, One Bal Harbour, the St. Regis Residences, Balmoral, or Kenilworth. VIP members receive one annual house call included; FAMILY+ members receive two; Signature members receive unlimited. Additional house calls are available to all members at preferred member rates. We also coordinate with Bal Harbour Shops-area pharmacies to fill prescriptions immediately following your in-residence visit.

TrufaMED is located at 9445 Harding Ave, Surfside, FL 33154 — a six-minute drive from Bal Harbour Village under normal traffic conditions. Surfside is the community immediately south of Bal Harbour, making TrufaMED the closest physician-led, Joint Commission-accredited facility to Bal Harbour residents. Members also have in-residence house call access, which reverses the direction: we come to you.

Yes. TrufaMED understands Bal Harbour’s large seasonal population. Concierge memberships include telehealth visits that provide continuity of care year-round, regardless of where you are physically located. When you return to Bal Harbour for the season, your in-person access is seamless. Yes. In-residence lab draws are available for concierge members as part of house call services. A phlebotomy-capable care team member accompanies house call visits when laboratory testing is anticipated. Specimens are processed at TrufaMED’s Joint Commission–accredited, CLIA-certified on-site laboratory, with most results available same-day or the following morning. Results are reviewed directly with you by your physician — no waiting for a patient portal notification.

Concierge membership benefits travel with you. Telehealth visits are available from any location with internet access. Your physician can consult on symptoms, review labs ordered elsewhere, coordinate with local providers, and manage medications remotely. For in-person care during travel, your TrufaMED physician can coordinate with affiliated urgent care or emergency facilities in your travel destination and ensure your care record is transferred appropriately.

TrufaMED physicians prescribe directly and coordinate with your preferred pharmacy. For in-residence house calls in Bal Harbour, we coordinate with pharmacies in the Bal Harbour Shops vicinity and nearby Surfside to ensure medications are ready for pickup or delivery following your visit. Telehealth visits include electronic prescribing to any licensed pharmacy in Florida. Ongoing medication management and refills are handled through your physician — no separate pharmacy appointment is needed.

Yes. Specialist coordination is a core membership benefit. Your concierge physician communicates directly with specialist physicians — cardiologists, orthopedic surgeons, dermatologists, oncologists — and advocates on your behalf during the referral process. For Signature tier members, a dedicated care coordinator handles all scheduling, insurance pre-authorization, and follow-up logistics. TrufaMED has established relationships with leading specialists across Miami-Dade and Broward.

Yes. VIP members receive five IV therapy sessions per year; FAMILY+ members receive ten shared sessions; Signature members have full access to all IV therapies. Sessions can be delivered in-clinic at TrufaMED’s Surfside location or via our mobile IV service at your Bal Harbour address. Available formulations include Myers’ Cocktail, NAD+ infusions, Immune Boost, Hangover Recovery, Post Workout, and more. Members pay preferred member rates for sessions beyond the included allotment.

Direct Primary Care (DPC) practices charge a flat monthly fee for primary care visits only, without diagnostic infrastructure or urgent care capability.
