A board-certified physician for your whole household, minutes from East and West Island, with house calls to your door and an accredited clinic just down Harding Avenue.
Membership-based healthcare. Three tiers available. Complimentary consultation included.
Joint Commission AccreditedBay Harbor Islands is two small, connected residential islands on Biscayne Bay, the kind of quiet, walkable place where families know their neighbors and want a doctor who knows them too. TrufaMED provides physician-led concierge care for both East and West Island from its Joint Commission-accredited clinic at 9445 Harding Ave in Surfside, only a few minutes south. For members who would rather stay home, a board-certified physician comes to the residence.
Concierge medicine is a membership model: instead of rushed visits and weeks-long waits, you get direct access to your own physician, longer appointments, a comprehensive annual assessment, and in-residence house calls, for a monthly or annual fee. TrufaMED deliberately limits enrollment so your physician knows your history, your goals, and your family. For a tight-knit island community, that personal relationship is the whole point. See the membership tiers.
Proximity, one physician for the household, and a doctor who answers when you call. Bay Harbor Islands sits directly between Bal Harbour and Surfside, so the nearest physician-led, Joint Commission-accredited practice in South Florida is a short drive away, and the person on the other end of the line is a board-certified physician, not a call center.
Behind every visit is an accredited facility with on-site digital X-ray, point-of-care ultrasound, comprehensive lab testing, and EKG, plus IV therapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and advanced cancer screening. A house call at home tonight, a full facility minutes away tomorrow. You are not buying access to a single office; you are buying a complete healthcare relationship for the family.

For non-life-threatening urgent needs. For a true emergency, call 911.
Most house calls end with advice and a referral. A TrufaMED visit is led by a board-certified surgeon and an emergency physician who arrive equipped to treat on the spot, with an accredited facility minutes away on Harding Avenue for anything that needs more.
A physician visit in your East Island or West Island home, single-family house or low-rise condo alike, with scheduling within hours rather than days. No drive, no waiting room, no parking.
In-residence blood draws and rapid infectious-disease testing during the visit. Specimens are processed at our CLIA-certified on-site lab in Surfside, with most results the same day.
Point-of-care ultrasound brought to you, so your physician can look beneath the surface and decide on the spot, without waiting on outside imaging.
IV fluids and medications started in your home, an EKG for chest symptoms, and prescriptions sent to a Kane Concourse or Bal Harbour pharmacy before your physician leaves.
A fever, an ear infection, a stomach bug. Our physicians care for children from three months of age, so a sick child can be examined in their own bed instead of a crowded waiting room.
The accreditation that governs our Surfside clinic governs every house call. Sterile technique, medication safety, and infection control travel with the physician.
Every tier is built on direct access. The higher tiers add wellness benefits, family coverage, and more house calls.
Reach your physician by phone, text, or messaging app at any hour. No call centers, no triage nurses, no portals. A direct line to a board-certified MD who knows you.
All tiersGuaranteed same-day or next-day appointments for any non-emergency concern, with no waiting-room queue at the Surfside clinic. Removing the wait is the point.
All tiersHouse calls to your East or West Island home are included, with the number of visits scaling by tier and additional visits available to every member at preferred rates.
Scales by tierThe Family+ and Signature tiers cover both parents and children under a single membership, with pediatric wellness and sick-day visits managed by one trusted physician.
Family+ & SignatureA full assessment with blood panel, vitals, body-composition analysis, and a personalized health plan set for the year ahead, for every member of the household.
All tiersDigital X-ray, point-of-care ultrasound, comprehensive labs, EKG, and rapid testing, all under one Joint Commission-accredited roof a few minutes from the islands.
All tiersTwo connected islands, a short main street, and a community that values its quiet. House call and in-clinic service reach every corner of the neighborhood and the communities right beside it.
The residential side of single-family homes and small condominiums. In-home physician visits and lab draws come to your door, with the clinic only minutes south.
The Kane Concourse business side along 96th Street, with its boutiques and dining. Office professionals and residents alike get same-day access and house calls.
Home to the Ruth K. Broad Bay Harbor K-8 Center. One physician for the household means coordinated pediatric and parent care under a single membership.
The Village and the towers along Collins are minutes north. Members who split time between the two communities keep one physician relationship throughout.
The clinic sits in Surfside, the community directly south, so Bay Harbor members reach an accredited facility faster than from almost anywhere we serve.
Private, low-profile care for Indian Creek Village residents and the Collins Avenue towers just north in Sunny Isles, all within the service area.
A close, residential community of families, professionals, and seasonal residents who want a personal physician close to home rather than a number in a large system.
One physician relationship for the whole household. Our physicians care for children from three months of age, with pediatric wellness and sick-day visits under the Family+ and Signature tiers.
Demanding schedules that leave no room for waiting rooms. Direct text access, same-day visits, and an annual physical that fits around your calendar, not the other way around.
Telehealth keeps your care continuous when you are away, and in-person care resumes the moment you return to the islands. Select month-to-month arrangements are available.
For those who want proactive optimization, IV therapy, NAD+ infusions, Galleri cancer screening, and physician-guided wellness, rather than reactive sick care alone.
TrufaMED concierge is your physician for the moments your primary care doctor isn't built for: acute illness, after-hours urgencies, house calls, IV therapy, hyperbaric oxygen, travel medicine, and same-day diagnostics. Your PCP remains your long-term quarterback for annual physicals, chronic disease management, and preventive screenings. We share every visit note with them so your care stays connected.
No problem. We’ll connect you with a vetted Miami primary care physician we coordinate with regularly, so your acute care and long-term care stay seamlessly linked from day one.
Direct line to your physician. House calls at home, hotel, condo, or yacht. A board-certified MD who arrives equipped to handle the visit on the spot, with a Joint Commission accredited clinic five minutes away for anything that needs more. This is concierge medicine the way it should look.
You don’t call a service. You don’t call a hospital. You call Dr. Gedalia or Dr. Naidoo directly (the same physician who knows your history) and a clinical plan starts inside the first minute.
A guest visiting from out of town (or you, mid-trip in Miami) falls ill in a hotel suite. The physician comes to the room with portable diagnostics, runs the workup, and writes prescriptions the concierge desk can collect.
A charter day on the bay turns into a laceration, a jellyfish sting, a sunstroke, an allergic reaction. The physician meets the boat at the dock with the kit to handle it on the spot: sutures, IV fluids, antihistamines, the works.
Hours before a private flight: hydration IV, B-complex, anti-nausea, a signed pre-flight clearance letter, travel prescriptions filled. Your jet leaves with the cabinet already stocked and the medical paperwork already done.
Sexual health. Mental health. Fertility. Performance. Handled in your home or by encrypted call: no waiting room, no front-desk check-in, no chart sitting in a clinic lobby with your name on it.
A surgeon has told you a procedure is necessary. Before you say yes, a board-certified physician reads every page of your record, every image, calls the specialist, and walks you through what you actually need.
When a case needs imaging, admission, or workup only a hospital can deliver, your TrufaMED physician personally accompanies you to the ER. They brief the attending, read the labs and images in real time, coordinate the admission if it comes to that, and stay until the plan is right. You have a physician advocate in the room until you walk out.
Portable ultrasound. Point-of-care labs. IV start kit. Suture and minor-procedure kit. ECG. Pulse oximetry. Emergency medications. Full prescription authority. Everything needed to handle the visit on the spot.
A Joint Commission accredited Surfside clinic with X-ray, advanced lab, IV bay, hyperbaric oxygen, and same-day specialty referrals to Mount Sinai Miami Beach, HCA Aventura, UM Health, Jackson Memorial, Cleveland Clinic, and Baptist Health, for anything the house call can’t resolve.
Most concierge practices rely on a single generalist. TrufaMED is led by two board-certified physicians whose combined experience spans general surgery, emergency medicine, trauma, and wound care.
Dr. Gedalia earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University and completed his surgical residency at St. Vincent’s Hospital in New York. He leads the concierge program and serves as Regional Chief Medical Officer for a surgical and wound-care program. His surgical background means he can evaluate and treat on-site what would require a specialist referral elsewhere.
Dr. Naidoo brings extensive adult and pediatric emergency, trauma, and critical-care experience from high-volume emergency departments across the East Coast. His training means members get a physician who has handled the most acute situations and brings calm, decisive judgment to every visit.
This physician-first approach is why TrufaMED carries Joint Commission accreditation, a distinction held by only eight urgent care centers in the United States. It is the same standard applied to major hospitals, and it governs every part of our concierge program.
What island families ask before joining.
Yes. TrufaMED provides physician-led concierge medicine to Bay Harbor Islands residents from its Joint Commission-accredited clinic at 9445 Harding Ave in Surfside, the next community south across the Broad Causeway approach. Both East and West Island are inside the 33154 ZIP we already serve, so the clinic is only a few minutes from any home on either island. Members who prefer to stay home can have a board-certified physician come to the residence. For non-life-threatening urgent needs; for a true emergency, call 911.
Very close. Bay Harbor Islands sits between Bal Harbour and Surfside, and our Surfside clinic is roughly a five to seven minute drive from either East or West Island, straight down Harding Avenue. That makes TrufaMED the nearest physician-led, Joint Commission-accredited facility to Bay Harbor families. For house calls, the direction simply reverses: the physician drives the few minutes to you.
Yes. In-residence house calls are part of TrufaMED concierge membership and cover the single-family homes and low-rise condominiums on both East Island and West Island. A physician arrives equipped to examine, draw labs, start IV fluids, and treat on the spot, with our accredited clinic minutes away for digital X-ray or anything that needs more. The number of included house calls scales by tier, and additional visits are available to every member at preferred member rates.
It is built for them. Bay Harbor Islands is a quiet, walkable family neighborhood, home to the Ruth K. Broad Bay Harbor K-8 Center, where one trusted physician for the whole household carries real value. Our Family+ and Signature tiers cover both parents and children under a single membership, our physicians care for children from three months of age, and you reach the same doctor for a child’s fever on a Sunday night that you see for a routine wellness visit.
Yes. In-residence lab draws are part of house call service, and specimens are processed at our on-site, CLIA-certified laboratory (CLIA #10D2326945) minutes away in Surfside. Most results are ready the same day or the next morning, and your physician reviews them with you directly rather than leaving you to read a portal notification. The same on-site lab, digital X-ray, ultrasound, and EKG are available when you visit the clinic.
Your physician prescribes directly and coordinates with your preferred pharmacy. For house calls on the islands, we work with pharmacies along the Kane Concourse (96th Street) and in nearby Bal Harbour and Surfside, so medications are ready for pickup or delivery soon after the visit. Telehealth appointments include electronic prescribing to any licensed Florida pharmacy, and refills are managed through your physician without booking a separate visit.
Yes. Every membership includes telehealth visits that keep your care continuous year-round, wherever you are, so seasonal residents stay connected to the same physician between visits. When you return to the islands for the season, in-person care picks up exactly where it left off. We can also arrange select month-to-month memberships for residents who spend part of the year in South Florida; call our team to discuss an arrangement around your schedule.
The care model is the same TrufaMED concierge program; the difference is geography and convenience. Bay Harbor Islands residents are minutes from the clinic and can be seen, or visited at home, faster than from almost anywhere else we serve. If you live in a Bal Harbour tower or along Collins Avenue in Miami Beach, those pages describe service tailored to those addresses. The membership, physicians, and accredited facility are identical across all of them.
TrufaMED offers three membership tiers: VIP, Family+, and Signature. Each is built on direct physician access, same-day appointments, extended visits, an annual comprehensive assessment, and on-site diagnostics, with house calls and wellness benefits scaling by tier. Pricing is laid out tier by tier on the membership page, and every membership begins with a complimentary consultation to find the right fit. See the membership page for the full breakdown.
It starts with a complimentary consultation. Call (305) 537-6396 or message us on WhatsApp at +1 (305) 842-9801. We review your goals and medical history, recommend the tier that fits your household, and activate your membership, usually within 48 hours. You then receive your physician’s direct contact and schedule your first comprehensive assessment at the Surfside clinic or, if you prefer, at home.
