Full physician assessment
A board-certified MD takes a complete history, performs a focused exam, and builds a clinical plan. Not a brief check-in: plan on 30 to 60 minutes.
Portable diagnostics
Vital signs, point-of-care ultrasound, and rapid strep, flu, COVID, and urinalysis on-site, plus a blood draw for send-out labs. Anything beyond portable is coordinated same-day at the clinic.
Prescription authority
The physician can write prescriptions during the visit, e-prescribe to your pharmacy, or coordinate delivery, including antibiotics, antivirals, anti-nausea, pain management within guidelines, and refills.
Same-day clinic follow-up
If you need X-ray, advanced labs, IV antibiotics, hyperbaric oxygen, or a specialist, the same physician coordinates same-day access at our Surfside clinic. No referral, no waiting room.
Coordination and communication
A written visit summary, medication list, and care plan, with communication to your primary care physician on request. Continuity is built in for repeat visits.

Every TrufaMED house call is performed by an emergency-medicine board-certified physician. The two physicians who lead our practice oversee every house-call protocol and personally take house-call rotations.
Dr. Gedalia leads the TrufaMED clinical team and develops protocols across urgent care, IV therapy, hyperbaric oxygen, and concierge medicine. He personally takes house-call rotations.

Do I need to be a concierge member to book a house call?
No. TrufaMED house calls are available to non-members on an on-demand basis. Concierge members receive house calls as part of their Signature tier benefits at no additional per-visit cost. Non-members pay a transparent per-visit fee: same-day visits are $1,200, rapid response is $1,600, and after-hours visits (after 11 PM, available 24/7) are $2,500. How quickly can a doctor come to me?
Same-day visits are available subject to physician availability and travel distance. Daytime visits within the standard service area can typically be dispatched within two to four hours. What does a house call cost?
Pricing is set per visit based on case complexity, time of day, day of week, and travel distance from our Surfside clinic. Same-day visits are $1,200, rapid response is $1,600, and after-hours visits are $2,500; scheduled visits are quoted on request. We provide a quote before the physician is dispatched, with no surprise billing. What can a house call doctor treat?

Can the doctor write prescriptions?

Do you visit yachts?
Yes, within the Miami Beach and Indian Creek service area. Yacht visits require coordination with marina security and adequate physical access. Call ahead to discuss specifics.
