Do I need an appointment or can I walk in? +
Walk-ins are always welcome at TrufaMED. You can also book online in advance through our scheduling portal for a shorter wait. Same-day availability is almost always open, and our team works to get you seen as quickly as possible.
What services does TrufaMED offer? +
TrufaMED provides urgent care for illnesses and injuries, IV therapy with 16 medical-grade formulas, mobile IV delivery across Miami-Dade County, hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT), digital X-rays, preventive health screenings, pediatric urgent care, telehealth visits, and concierge medicine memberships. All services are available under one roof at our Surfside clinic.
What are your hours and where are you located? +
We are located at 9445 Harding Ave, Surfside, FL 33154 — just minutes from Miami Beach, Bal Harbour, Bay Harbor Islands, Sunny Isles Beach, and Aventura. We are open seven days a week. Check our website or call (305) 537-6396 for current hours.
Do you accept insurance? +
Yes, TrufaMED accepts most major insurance plans for urgent care visits. IV therapy, HBOT, and certain wellness services may be offered as self-pay depending on your plan. Our front desk team can verify your coverage before your visit — just call ahead or bring your insurance card when you arrive.
What is Joint Commission accreditation and why does it matter? +
The Joint Commission is the gold standard in healthcare quality and patient safety. TrufaMED is Florida's only Joint Commission-accredited urgent care facility and one of just eight nationwide. This means we meet the same rigorous safety, infection control, and clinical quality standards as top hospitals — giving you hospital-grade care in a convenient, low-wait setting.
How does mobile IV therapy work? +
Book online or call us, choose your IV drip formula, and provide your delivery address anywhere in Miami-Dade County. A licensed healthcare provider arrives at your home, hotel, or office with all necessary supplies, administers the IV, and monitors you throughout the session. The entire process takes 45 to 75 minutes. A delivery fee of $50 to $150 applies depending on location and priority.
Can I bring my child to TrufaMED? +
Absolutely. TrufaMED offers pediatric urgent care for children of all ages. Whether your child needs treatment for fever, ear infections, strep throat, minor injuries, or school and sports physicals, our team is experienced in providing compassionate care for younger patients in a comfortable environment.
What areas do you serve? +
Our Surfside clinic serves patients from across Miami-Dade County, including Miami Beach, Bal Harbour, Bay Harbor Islands, Sunny Isles Beach, Aventura, Brickell, Coral Gables, Downtown Miami, Coconut Grove, and surrounding communities. Our mobile IV service delivers to all of these areas and beyond.
