Urgent Care Membership Miami Beach.
Adult Care Plan • Kids Access Plan • Family Plan
Florida’s only Joint Commission-accredited urgent care membership. Physician-led care with no surprise bills — just a $20 visit fee, unlimited sick visits, same-day labs, and priority access, every single day.
Serving Surfside, Miami Beach, Bal Harbour, Bay Harbor Islands, and greater Miami-Dade County.
TrufaMED urgent care membership gives you unlimited walk-in physician visits at 9445 Harding Ave, Surfside, FL. Adult plan $375/month, Kids plan $350/month, Family plans available. Joint Commission accredited — Florida’s only accredited urgent care. No appointment needed. Open Mon–Fri 9 AM–9 PM, Sat 11 AM–11 PM, Sun 12 PM–8 PM.
Healthcare That Actually Shows Up
The urgent care membership model replaces the anxiety of surprise bills and crowded waiting rooms with a fixed monthly fee, dedicated physician teams, and a $20 visit fee every time you walk through the door. No insurance authorizations for routine sick visits. No three-hour waits. Just premium, physician-led care — Joint Commission accredited and available seven days a week.
Unlimited Sick Visits
Adult and pediatric members can be seen as many times as needed throughout the month — colds, ear infections, sore throats, skin concerns, and more. Just a $20 visit fee every time.
Priority Access — No Wait
Members receive front-of-line priority when presenting at TrufaMED. Board-certified physicians, not mid-levels. Same-day appointments available seven days a week, Mon–Fri 9 AM–9 PM, Sat 11 AM–11 PM, Sun 12 PM–8 PM.
Monthly Labs Included
Adult Care Plan members receive a monthly clinical lab panel — CBC, CMP, lipid panel, and more — as part of their membership. On-site Joint Commission–accredited, CLIA-certified lab with same-visit results for most tests.
Predictable, Flat-Fee Pricing
A fixed monthly fee replaces the unpredictable cost of per-visit urgent care. No co-insurance, no EOB surprises. Members know exactly what healthcare costs before the month begins.
Physician-Led Every Visit
Every TrufaMED visit is led by a board-certified physician. Dr. Uri Gedalia (General Surgery) and Dr. Shane D. Naidoo (Emergency Medicine) set clinical standards that mid-level-only clinics cannot match.
Joint Commission Quality Standard
TrufaMED holds Joint Commission accreditation — the same gold standard required of major hospital systems. Florida’s only accredited urgent care. A standard most local clinics simply cannot meet.

What Is an Urgent Care Membership?
An urgent care membership — sometimes called a direct primary care plan or urgent care plan — replaces the traditional fee-for-service model with a fixed monthly subscription. Rather than paying per-visit rates that vary with insurance co-pays, deductibles, and surprise facility fees, members pay one predictable amount each month and a low flat $20 visit fee every time they come in.
“The membership model removes the financial anxiety from the exam room. Patients who avoid the doctor because of cost concerns come in earlier — and that changes outcomes.”
— Dr. Uri Gedalia, MD, CMO
At TrufaMED, membership is not a watered-down walk-in plan. Every member receives care from a board-certified physician — not a non-physician provider. That distinction matters for complex presentations: chest pain, lacerations, asthma exacerbations, pediatric fever spikes, and acute musculoskeletal injuries all require the judgment that only a licensed physician can bring to the visit.
Our Adult Care Plan at $375/month adds a monthly clinical lab panel — CBC, comprehensive metabolic panel, and lipid profile — as part of membership. For adults managing chronic conditions such as hypertension, hyperlipidemia, or type 2 diabetes who require regular monitoring, this alone represents significant cost savings compared to ordering the same labs through a traditional primary care office.
The Kids Access Plan at $350/month was built for South Florida families who know how frequently children cycle through ear infections, strep throat, flu, and RSV — especially during school months. Unlimited sick visits with a board-certified physician mean parents stop rationing pediatric care based on cost. Rapid in-office testing for strep, flu A/B, COVID-19, and RSV returns results in minutes, not days.
“Healthcare you can actually afford to use — every time you need it.”
No Surprise Bills
Fixed monthly fee plus $20 visit copay — that’s it. No deductibles, no co-insurance, no EOB confusion.
Joint Commission Accredited
Florida’s only Joint Commission-accredited urgent care — the hospital-grade quality standard most clinics never achieve.
Physicians, Not Mid-Levels
Board-certified MDs lead every visit. Not a non-physician provider, not a PA — a licensed physician.
Open 7 days (Mon–Fri 9 AM–9 PM, Sat 11 AM–11 PM, Sun 12 PM–8 PM)
Illness doesn’t follow business hours. Members have access to care every day of the week, including weekends and holidays.
Who Benefits Most From Membership Care
The TrufaMED urgent care membership is not for everyone — and we’re honest about that. It is designed for patients who need frequent, reliable access to physician-led care without the unpredictability of insurance billing. If any of the following describes you or your family, membership almost certainly saves you money and stress.
Self-Pay & Underinsured Adults
Adults without employer-sponsored insurance — freelancers, small business owners, 1099 workers — who are currently avoiding routine care because the per-visit cost is unpredictable. Membership turns healthcare into a predictable line item.
Families with School-Age Children
Elementary and middle school children average 6–8 physician visits per year. With the Kids Access Plan at $350/month and a $20 visit fee, families in Surfside, Bal Harbour, and Miami Beach eliminate the guesswork entirely.
Adults Managing Chronic Conditions
Patients with hypertension, diabetes, or hyperlipidemia who need regular lab monitoring benefit directly from the Adult Care Plan’s monthly lab panel. No scheduling, no referral needed — labs are drawn on-site in the same visit.
Athletes & Active Professionals
Runners, cyclists, CrossFit athletes, and sports teams in Miami Beach and Bal Harbour who need musculoskeletal assessments, on-site X-ray, and sports physicals without the multi-week wait of traditional sports medicine practices.
Seasonal & Part-Time Miami Residents
Snowbirds and part-year Miami Beach residents who need reliable local physician access during their Florida months without committing to a full primary care practice or navigating a new insurance network every season.
High-Deductible Plan Holders
Patients with HDHPs paying $3,000–$7,000 deductibles who pay out of pocket for all care until the deductible resets. TrufaMED membership is frequently cheaper than a single high-deductible urgent care or ER visit for non-emergency illness.
Enrolling Takes Less Than 10 Minutes
No lengthy intake forms, no insurance verification, no waiting weeks for an enrollment appointment. TrufaMED membership starts online or by phone — and your first visit can happen the same day.

Urgent Care Membership vs. The Alternatives
Choosing between a TrufaMED membership, standard urgent care visits, concierge medicine, and the emergency room is a financial and clinical decision. Here is an honest comparison so you can decide what fits your situation.
Urgent Care Membership vs. Pay-Per-Visit Urgent Care
A standard urgent care visit in Miami ranges from $150 to $250 out of pocket for a self-pay patient — before labs, imaging, or prescriptions. A patient who averages two to three visits per month will exceed the $375 Adult Care Plan cost in a single month. For families with children who visit four to six times a season for routine illness, the Kids Access Plan ($350/mo with $20 co-pay) creates substantial predictable savings compared to individual visit pricing.
Urgent Care Membership vs. the Emergency Room
For non-life-threatening emergencies — lacerations requiring sutures, moderate asthma, suspected UTI, ear infections, fractures requiring X-ray, acute abdominal pain without surgical urgency — TrufaMED provides equivalent diagnostic capability to the ER at a fraction of the cost. Average ER facility fees in South Florida range from $1,200 to $3,500 before physician and lab fees. TrufaMED has on-site digital X-ray, Joint Commission–accredited, CLIA-certified laboratory, and board-certified emergency and surgical physicians on staff. For true life-threatening emergencies — stroke, cardiac arrest, major trauma — call 911 immediately.
Urgent Care Membership vs. Concierge Medicine
TrufaMED also offers concierge medicine membership tiers for patients who want a dedicated personal physician relationship, comprehensive annual physicals, longevity panels, and 24/7 direct physician access. The urgent care membership is optimized for sick-visit access and routine monitoring. Concierge medicine is optimized for proactive, comprehensive health management. Both are physician-led. Both are accredited. The right choice depends on how you use healthcare.
Urgent Care Membership vs. Direct Primary Care (DPC)
Direct primary care is a nationwide movement toward subscription-based healthcare. TrufaMED’s urgent care membership plan operates on the same principle: fixed monthly fee, low visit cost, no insurance intermediary for routine visits. What distinguishes TrufaMED from pure DPC models is the breadth of on-site diagnostics — digital X-ray, point-of-care laboratory, ultrasound — and the Joint Commission accreditation standard that most independent DPC practices do not hold. Patients in Miami Beach, Bal Harbour, and Surfside who have searched for direct primary care Miami Beach or primary care membership Bal Harbour will find that TrufaMED’s urgent care plan covers the majority of what routine primary care delivers, with urgent care depth added on top.
The Physicians Behind Every Membership Visit
TrufaMED membership means access to board-certified physicians. Every visit is led or directly supervised by an attending physician.
Dr. Uri Gedalia, MD
Chief Medical Officer • Board-Certified General Surgeon
Dr. Gedalia leads TrufaMED with the conviction that South Florida deserved physician-owned, physician-led urgent care — not corporate urgent care chains staffed primarily by mid-levels. As a board-certified general surgeon, Dr. Gedalia brings surgical-level diagnostic precision to acute presentations including abdominal pain, lacerations, soft-tissue injuries, and procedural urgent care. He sets the clinical standards and culture at TrufaMED that make membership care genuinely different from walk-in chain alternatives.
Dr. Shane D. Naidoo, MD
Medical Director • Board-Certified Emergency Medicine
Dr. Naidoo’s background in emergency medicine means TrufaMED members receive emergency-department-level triage and clinical decision-making in an urgent care setting. He is responsible for clinical protocols, quality assurance, and the diagnostic algorithms that ensure every member’s complaint is worked up appropriately — from pediatric fever management to adult chest pain to acute musculoskeletal injury. His emergency medicine training directly benefits members who present at the boundary of urgent care and emergency severity.
Meet our full clinical team — including Mariet Cardenes RN, Noam Friedman RN, Gina Nuzzo RN, and Jessica Montoya — on the Our Staff page. Our clinical team speaks eight languages and is trained to the same standards required by Joint Commission accreditation.
See How TrufaMED Compares to Traditional Costs.
Urgent care visits add up fast — co-pays, deductibles, and surprise facility fees make episodic insurance-based care expensive and unpredictable. TrufaMED membership replaces that volatility with a flat monthly rate and a $20 visit fee every time.
- • Co-pay + deductible + facility fee
- • Wait 30–90 min on average
- • May see a PA or NP, not an MD
- • No continuity of care
- • Billing surprises weeks later
- • Can exceed $3,000 for minor issues
- • Hours-long waits are standard
- • Overhead charges on every item
- • Specialist referrals, no follow-up
- • No relationship with the care team
- • Unlimited physician visits
- • Board-certified MD every time
- • Priority access — no queue
- • On-site X-ray, lab, ultrasound
- • One predictable monthly cost
Family of 4 — Annual Cost Comparison
Assume a family of 4 with 10 urgent care visits per year. Under traditional insurance, average out-of-pocket per visit runs $300 (co-pay + deductible share + fees) — that's $3,000+ annually with no physician continuity and unpredictable bills.
Two TrufaMED Adult Plans ($375 × 2 × 12) plus a Kids Plan ($350 × 12) = approximately $13,200/yr for unlimited access for the whole family — with board-certified physicians, same-day appointments, and zero billing surprises. For chronic disease management or true primary care, see our Concierge Program. For acute walk-in care without a membership, see our urgent care page.
Limitations of Care.
While TrufaMED provides comprehensive care for most non-life-threatening conditions, certain situations require emergency services or specialized facilities. We do not treat:
Patients needing chronic disease management or a true primary care relationship should explore our Concierge Medicine program, which provides longitudinal physician oversight and preventive care. For immediate acute care needs without a membership, our walk-in urgent care is open 7 days a week.
*This is urgent care and wellness, not a replacement for a primary care physician. For life-threatening emergencies, call 911 immediately.
Urgent Care Membership FAQ
Answers to the questions South Florida patients ask most before enrolling in a physician-led urgent care membership plan.
How much does the TrufaMED urgent care membership cost?
The Adult Care Plan (ages 18+) is $375 per month per adult and includes unlimited urgent care visits, a monthly clinical lab panel, priority access, and a $20 per-visit fee. The Kids Access Plan (ages 2–17) is $350 per month per child and includes unlimited sick visits, rapid testing, priority access, and a $20 per-visit fee. The Family Plan covers adults and children under one household plan — contact us at (305) 537-6396 for custom household pricing. All plans renew monthly and can be cancelled with advance notice.
What is included in the $20 visit fee — are there hidden charges?
The $20 visit fee covers the physician evaluation and basic management of your presenting complaint. It is not an all-inclusive flat fee — on-site procedures (suturing, splinting, I&D), advanced imaging beyond the initial assessment, and outside laboratory tests may carry separate charges. We are transparent about costs before initiating any chargeable procedure. For most straightforward urgent care visits — sore throat, ear infection, respiratory illness, UTI, minor injury assessment — the $20 visit fee and monthly membership are the only costs incurred by the member.
Does the membership replace my health insurance?
No. TrufaMED’s urgent care membership plans are not insurance products and do not replace comprehensive health insurance. They cover urgent care sick visits and routine monitoring at TrufaMED only. Hospitalization, specialist referrals, surgical procedures, and prescription costs are not covered by membership. Members who hold health insurance may still use their insurance for procedures and tests that fall outside the membership scope — and TrufaMED accepts most major insurance plans for those services.
What conditions can be treated with the urgent care membership?
TrufaMED urgent care members can be seen for a wide range of acute and non-emergency medical conditions including: upper respiratory infections, sinusitis, strep throat, ear infections, UTIs, skin infections, rashes, lacerations (requiring sutures or wound care), sprains and minor fractures (with on-site digital X-ray), acute gastrointestinal illness, allergic reactions (non-anaphylactic), hypertensive urgency evaluation, and routine monitoring for chronic conditions. Pediatric members can be seen for all age-appropriate acute illness presentations. For psychiatric emergencies, overdose, stroke, major trauma, or cardiac arrest — call 911 immediately.
When should I go to the ER instead of using my TrufaMED membership?
Call 911 or go directly to the nearest emergency room for: chest pain with shortness of breath or arm/jaw radiation, signs of stroke (facial droop, arm weakness, speech difficulty — act FAST), severe difficulty breathing, major trauma, uncontrolled bleeding, seizure, overdose, or any condition where you feel your life or someone else’s is in immediate danger. TrufaMED is equipped for urgent — not emergent — presentations. Our on-site physicians can stabilize and appropriately triage patients who arrive more critically than expected, but an ER with surgical and intensive care backup is the right setting for true medical emergencies.
Is TrufaMED Joint Commission accredited — why does that matter for my membership?
Yes. TrufaMED is Florida’s only Joint Commission-accredited urgent care facility. Joint Commission accreditation means TrufaMED has been independently evaluated against the same quality and safety standards required of major hospital systems — and passed. For urgent care members, accreditation means: standardized clinical protocols, documented quality metrics, physician oversight of all clinical decisions, infection control standards, and regular third-party audits. Most independent urgent care clinics, and many large urgent care chains, do not hold this accreditation. It is a meaningful difference in the quality assurance framework surrounding your care.
How does the monthly lab panel work for Adult Care Plan members?
Adult Care Plan members ($375/month) receive a monthly clinical lab panel drawn on-site at TrufaMED. The standard panel includes a complete blood count (CBC), comprehensive metabolic panel (CMP), and lipid profile. Results are available within the same visit or next business day depending on the test. Members managing chronic conditions such as hypertension, type 2 diabetes, or hyperlipidemia who require regular monitoring will find this panel covers their core monitoring needs without scheduling a separate lab visit or paying out-of-pocket lab fees. Additional labs beyond the monthly panel — specialty panels, thyroid, hormones, etc. — may be ordered at standard rates or through insurance.
Can I use the urgent care membership for my child’s school physical?
Yes. Sports physicals and school physicals for pediatric members on the Kids Access Plan are conducted at TrufaMED with a $20 visit fee. We complete the Florida DOE-required physical form for school and camp admissions. Adult Care Plan members can also use membership for annual sports physicals. Physicals are performed by a board-certified physician — a standard that matters for organized sports leagues, camp programs, and schools that require a licensed physician signature on physical forms.
How does TrufaMED membership compare to concierge medicine?
TrufaMED offers both an urgent care membership and concierge medicine tiers for patients wanting comprehensive primary care relationships. The urgent care membership ($350–$375/mo) is optimized for sick-visit access, acute care, and routine labs. Concierge medicine at TrufaMED includes a dedicated personal physician relationship, comprehensive annual physicals, longevity and executive health panels, and 24/7 physician access via direct line — at a higher monthly investment. Many families hold an urgent care plan for day-to-day sick visits and a concierge membership for comprehensive health management. We can discuss which combination makes sense for your situation at (305) 537-6396.
Are IV therapy services included in the urgent care membership?
IV therapy services are a separate service at TrufaMED and are not included in urgent care membership plans. TrufaMED offers a full menu of physician-prescribed IV drips — from hydration and immunity formulas to NAD+ and iron infusion — available to both members and non-members. View the full IV therapy menu here. Members who want regular IV therapy may benefit from TrufaMED’s separate IV Therapy Membership program. Call (305) 537-6396 for details on bundled options.
Beyond Urgent Care
TrufaMED is more than urgent care. Members frequently combine their urgent care plan with other physician-led services available at our Surfside clinic.
