Physician-led care with no surprise bills: a $20 visit fee, unlimited sick visits, same-day labs, and priority access, every single day. Florida’s only Joint Commission-accredited urgent care membership.
Joint Commission AccreditedThe TrufaMED urgent care membership gives you unlimited walk-in physician visits at 9445 Harding Ave, Surfside, with a $20 visit fee each time. The Adult Access Membership is $375 per month and adds a monthly clinical lab panel; the Kids Access Membership is $350 per month per child; the Family Plan covers a whole household. Joint Commission accredited, no appointment needed, open seven days a week.
The membership model replaces the anxiety of surprise bills and crowded waiting rooms with a fixed monthly fee, a dedicated physician team, and a $20 visit fee every time you walk through the door.
Adult and pediatric members can be seen as many times as needed each month: colds, ear infections, sore throats, skin concerns, and more, for the $20 visit fee every time.
Members are seen front-of-line, by board-certified physicians rather than mid-levels, with same-day availability seven days a week.
Adult Access Membership holders receive a monthly clinical lab panel (CBC, CMP, lipids and more) drawn on-site at our CLIA-certified lab, with same-visit results for most tests.
A fixed monthly fee replaces the unpredictable cost of per-visit care. No coinsurance, no explanation-of-benefits surprises. You know the cost before the month begins.
Every visit is led by a board-certified physician. Dr. Gedalia and Dr. Naidoo set clinical standards that mid-level-only clinics cannot match.
TrufaMED holds the same accreditation required of major hospital systems, the only urgent care in Florida to do so, a standard most local clinics cannot meet.
All plans include the $20 per-visit fee and priority access. Contact our team to tailor a Family Plan to your household.
All plans renew monthly and cover urgent care sick visits at TrufaMED. They are not insurance and do not replace comprehensive coverage. On-site procedures, imaging, and specialist referrals may be billed separately. The $20 visit fee applies per encounter.
An urgent care membership replaces the traditional fee-for-service model with a fixed monthly subscription. Rather than paying per-visit rates that swing with copays, deductibles, and surprise facility fees, members pay one predictable amount each month and a low flat $20 visit fee every time they come in.
At TrufaMED, membership is not a watered-down walk-in plan. Every member is cared for by a board-certified physician, not a non-physician provider. That distinction matters for complex presentations: chest pain, lacerations, asthma flares, pediatric fever spikes, and acute musculoskeletal injuries all require the judgment only a licensed physician brings to the visit.
The membership model removes the financial anxiety from the exam room. Patients who avoid the doctor because of cost concerns come in earlier, and that changes outcomes.Dr. Uri Gedalia, MD · Chief Medical Officer
Membership is not for everyone, and we are honest about that. It is built for patients who need frequent, reliable access to physician-led care without the unpredictability of insurance billing.
Freelancers, business owners, and 1099 workers without employer insurance who avoid routine care because the per-visit cost is unpredictable. Membership turns healthcare into a fixed line item.
Children average six to eight physician visits a year. With the Kids Access Membership and a $20 visit fee, families in Surfside, Bal Harbour, and Miami Beach stop guessing the cost.
Patients with hypertension, diabetes, or hyperlipidemia who need regular monitoring benefit directly from the Adult Access Membership’s monthly lab panel, drawn on-site in the same visit.
Runners, cyclists, and athletes in Miami Beach and Bal Harbour who need musculoskeletal assessments, on-site X-ray, and sports physicals without a multi-week wait.
Snowbirds and part-year residents who want reliable local physician access during their Florida months without committing to a new insurance network each season.
Patients with $3,000 to $7,000 deductibles who pay out of pocket until the deductible resets. Membership is often cheaper than a single high-deductible urgent care or ER visit.

TrufaMED handles most non-life-threatening conditions. Some situations need the ER or a dedicated primary-care relationship, and we will point you there.
Patients needing chronic-disease management or a true primary-care relationship should explore our concierge medicine program. This is urgent care and wellness, not a replacement for a primary care physician. For life-threatening emergencies, call 911.
Dr. Gedalia built TrufaMED on the conviction that South Florida deserved physician-owned, physician-led urgent care rather than corporate chains staffed mainly by mid-levels. His surgical training brings precision to acute presentations.
Dr. Naidoo’s emergency background means members receive emergency-department-level triage and decision-making in an urgent care setting, with protocols that work up every complaint appropriately, from pediatric fever to adult chest pain.
The questions South Florida patients ask most before enrolling.
The Adult Access Membership, for ages 18 and up, is $375 per month per adult and includes unlimited urgent care visits, a monthly clinical lab panel, priority access, and a $20 per-visit fee. The Kids Access Membership, for ages 2 to 17, is $350 per month per child with unlimited sick visits, rapid testing, and the same $20 fee. The Family Plan covers adults and children under one household plan; call (305) 537-6396 for custom pricing. All plans renew monthly.
The $20 visit fee covers the physician evaluation and basic management of your presenting complaint. It is not an all-inclusive fee: on-site procedures such as suturing, splinting, and incision and drainage, advanced imaging beyond the initial assessment, and outside lab tests may carry separate charges, always disclosed before they run. For most straightforward visits, the $20 fee and your monthly membership are the only costs.
No. The urgent care membership plans are not insurance and do not replace comprehensive coverage. They cover urgent care sick visits and routine monitoring at TrufaMED only. Hospitalization, specialist referrals, surgery, and prescription costs are not covered. Members may still use insurance for services outside the membership scope, and TrufaMED accepts most major plans for those.
Members are seen for a wide range of acute and non-emergency conditions: upper respiratory infections, sinusitis, strep, ear infections, UTIs, skin infections, rashes, lacerations needing sutures, sprains and minor fractures with on-site X-ray, acute gastrointestinal illness, and non-anaphylactic allergic reactions. Pediatric members are seen for all age-appropriate acute illness. For stroke, overdose, major trauma, or cardiac arrest, call 911 immediately.
Call 911 or go to the nearest ER for chest pain with shortness of breath or radiation, stroke signs (facial droop, arm weakness, speech difficulty), severe difficulty breathing, major trauma, uncontrolled bleeding, seizure, or overdose. TrufaMED is equipped for urgent, not emergent, presentations, and our physicians can stabilize and triage patients who arrive more critically than expected.
Yes. TrufaMED is Florida’s only Joint Commission-accredited urgent care, evaluated against the same quality and safety standards required of major hospital systems. For members, that means standardized clinical protocols, documented quality metrics, physician oversight of all clinical decisions, infection-control standards, and regular third-party audits. Most independent urgent care clinics, and many large chains, do not hold this accreditation.
Adult Access Membership holders receive a monthly clinical lab panel drawn on-site, including a complete blood count, comprehensive metabolic panel, and lipid profile. Results are available the same visit or next business day. Members managing hypertension, type 2 diabetes, or hyperlipidemia find this covers their core monitoring without a separate lab visit or out-of-pocket lab fees.
Yes. Sports physicals and school physicals for pediatric members on the Kids Access Membership are done at TrufaMED for the $20 visit fee, and we complete the Florida DOE-required form. Adult Access Membership holders can also use membership for annual sports physicals. Physicals are performed by a board-certified physician, which matters for leagues, camps, and schools that require a physician signature.
No. IV therapy is a separate service and is not included in urgent care membership plans. TrufaMED offers a full menu of physician-prescribed IV drips to members and non-members alike, and a separate IV Therapy Membership program for those who want regular drips. Call (305) 537-6396 for details on bundled options.
