What you are actually buying
What you are buying is a documented process. A named clinician who is licensed and verifiable. A published price the guest reads before anyone is dispatched. A written response standard. A medical record that stays with the guest. A licensed facility to escalate to. Every one of those can be produced on paper before your first guest is sent.
What an accredited hotel physician program looks like
Accredited facility
TrufaMED is accredited by The Joint Commission, the only accredited urgent care in Florida. Accreditation covers infection control, medication handling, credentialing, and documentation, and it is renewed on survey by an outside body.
Five named physicians
Five physicians carry this service. Each one is named below with a specialty, licensed in Florida, and verifiable at flhealthsource.gov. An MD is on shift every hour our clinic is open, and a physician leads every shift.
Lab and facility identifiers
CLIA-certified on-site laboratory for on-site testing. Facility NPI #1578335295. Both are checkable by your risk team without asking us for anything.
Malpractice coverage
Professional liability coverage is carried by the practice for the physicians who take these calls. A certificate of insurance is available on request.
The five physicians on the roster
Board-certified general surgeon and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Sets the clinical protocols the house-call team works to.
Board-certified in emergency medicine. NPI 1457812273. Oversees quality, safety, and the documentation that travels with every visit.

Published pricing, and the guest sees it first
The physician visit fee is set by how fast the guest needs to be seen. It is on this page because your guest deserves to read it before your desk quotes it.
The guest is seen before the day is out. No clock time is promised.

The overnight rate, available around the clock.
Rapid strep, COVID-19, and flu testing is included in the visit fee. Anything else is quoted to the guest before dispatch. Visits booked well in advance are quoted on request. A cancelled or missed house call is charged the full visit fee. The guest pays TrufaMED at the published price, or the property passes the exact amount through to the folio with nothing added and nothing kept back.
The response standard, in writing
What we commit to
A Rapid Response request is confirmed within about 30 minutes and the physician is at the guest’s door within 4 hours of the request. Along the hotel corridor from Miami Beach to Sunny Isles, that is often within the hour. A same-day request means the guest is seen by the end of that day. The line is answered 24 hours a day, holidays included.
What we will not commit to
We will not promise a fixed arrival minute for a same-day visit, and we will not promise that a guest’s insurer will reimburse. A vendor who promises either is telling your guest something they cannot control.
What to require from any in-room physician vendor
Run this list on us and on anyone else your property is considering. Every item can be produced in writing before a first guest is ever sent.
- A named roster of licensed clinicians with specialty and board certification, verifiable at flhealthsource.gov.
- Facility accreditation (we hold Joint Commission).
- A current certificate of malpractice insurance.
- Published guest pricing with cancellation and no-show terms in writing.
- No free or discounted services to hotel staff, and no referral payments in either direction (Florida s. 456.062 and s. 817.505).
- A Notice of Privacy Practices.
- A coded superbill for the guest, with no promise that an insurer will reimburse.
- A written response standard.
- An escalation path to a licensed facility with imaging and lab.
- No requirement that a guest sign a release or indemnity protecting the property before treatment.
Coverage for your own team
Properties that want on-call coverage for staff as well as guests can put TrufaMED on a flat monthly retainer. It covers availability, a written response standard, and staff visits at our posted prices. It is never tied to visit volume, and it is available on request.
We do not give staff free or discounted care outside that arrangement, and no vendor should offer it to you. Florida s. 456.062 and s. 817.505 are the reason.

A 30-minute concierge briefing
We come to your property and walk the desk through the call, the four facts we need, the fee ladder, and the escalation line.
A desk card
A printed card for the concierge desk and the night manager with the numbers, the fee ladder, and the 911 line on it.
A private request link
Your property gets its own request form, issued at onboarding, that routes straight to dispatch instead of an inbox.
There is no contract for the hotel to sign, no fee to the property, and nothing changes hands in either direction.
Put the program in front of your risk team
Ask us for the certificate of insurance, the accreditation letter, and the response standard in writing. Ask the same of any other vendor your property is weighing.
In-room physician visits treat conditions that are not life-threatening. For a true emergency, call 911. Clinic hours are Monday to Friday 9 AM to 9 PM, Saturday 11 AM to 11 PM, and Sunday 12 PM to 8 PM. In-room physician visits run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
