What is the Slim & Trim IV?
Slim & Trim is a metabolism-support IV that delivers taurine, vitamin B12, and a full B-complex in a 1L saline base directly into your bloodstream. These are the nutrient cofactors your body already uses to process fat and produce energy, supplied at therapeutic concentrations with close to full bioavailability. It is designed to support an active weight-management routine, not to replace one. Sessions run about 45 to 60 minutes in our Joint Commission-accredited Surfside clinic, or by mobile visit across South Florida.

The Slim & Trim IV does not cause weight loss on its own, and we will not pretend it does. It supports the metabolic side of an active lifestyle by replacing the nutrients your body needs to turn fat into fuel. Because every IV begins with a medical evaluation, physician oversight is not optional here. Each order is reviewed by a board-certified physician on shift, and a registered nurse administers and monitors the drip.
Dr. Gedalia built TrufaMED around physician-led protocols, Joint Commission accreditation, and a standard of care usually reserved for hospital systems. He oversees the IV therapy program and approves the formulary, including the Slim & Trim protocol.
Dr. Naidoo directs clinical operations and reviews IV orders, including for patients managing diabetes or combining infusions with weight-loss medications. His emergency background brings careful, decisive judgment to every intake.

Will a Slim and Trim IV make me lose weight on its own?
No, and we will not tell you otherwise. The Slim and Trim IV is a metabolism-support infusion, not a weight-loss drug. It supplies the nutrients your body uses to convert fat into energy, which can support an active weight-management routine, but it does not cause weight loss by itself. Patients see the most benefit when they pair it with regular exercise, a sensible diet, and, where appropriate, a physician-guided medical weight-loss plan. Then what does the Slim and Trim IV actually do?

A medical weight-loss program is a physician-directed plan that may include GLP-1 medications, lab work, body-composition tracking, and ongoing follow-up to produce measurable weight loss. The Slim and Trim IV is a nutrient infusion that supports metabolism and energy. The IV can complement a weight-loss program, but it is not one. How long does a session take, and is there downtime?
Plan for about 45 minutes to one hour from line placement to removal. You recline in our private IV lounge while the formula infuses gently, and in-clinic sessions include complimentary red light therapy alongside the drip. There is no downtime; most patients return to normal activities right after. Mobile visits add about ten minutes of setup at the start.
Can I get the Slim and Trim IV delivered to me?
Yes. We bring the same physician-supervised infusion to your home, hotel, condo, or office across greater Miami. A licensed provider arrives fully equipped, sets up in about ten minutes, runs the drip, monitors your vitals, and cleans up. Mobile delivery adds a fee of $50 to $150 based on priority. Mobile visits do not include the complimentary red light therapy add-on.
