A physician leads every shift
A board-certified physician is on site and approves every drip before the line is started, reviewing your medications, history, and symptoms. This catches interactions and dosing problems a standing-order model misses. You are not handed off to a nurse working alone.

We can run a metabolic panel, complete blood count, and electrolytes before your drip and recheck them after. Dehydration is about sodium and potassium balance, not just fluid volume, so we treat with evidence instead of guessing. Mobile-only services have no way to test anything.

Dr. Gedalia built TrufaMED around physician-led protocols, Joint Commission accreditation, and a standard of care usually reserved for hospital systems. He oversees the IV therapy program and personally approves formulary changes.

Yes. TrufaMED offers both. Visit our IV lounge in Surfside, or book mobile delivery to your home, hotel, condo, yacht, or office across Miami Beach, Surfside, Bal Harbour, Sunny Isles Beach, Aventura, and surrounding areas. Mobile orders are reviewed and approved by a physician before a licensed provider is dispatched, the same oversight as an in-clinic visit. A mobile fee applies based on how quickly you need the team.
Does insurance cover IV therapy at TrufaMED?
Wellness drips are self-pay, and we accept all major cards, HSA and FSA, and Apple Pay. Where mobile-only companies are strictly cash-pay, TrufaMED is a medical clinic, so if your IV is part of a medically necessary visit, such as treatment for severe dehydration, food poisoning, or migraine, your insurance may cover the visit and related services. Our front desk can verify your benefits before treatment.
How long does an IV session take, and do I need an appointment?
Most wellness drips take 30 to 45 minutes to infuse; NAD+ runs two to four hours because a faster rate causes discomfort. Walk-ins are welcome at our Surfside clinic seven days a week, and same-day appointments are typical. For mobile delivery, book online or call ahead so we can dispatch a licensed provider to your location quickly.
Why might a TrufaMED IV cost more than a bargain mobile service?
The price reflects what is behind the drip: physician review of every order, a CLIA-certified lab, Joint Commission safety standards, emergency equipment on standby, and the ability to escalate to urgent care if needed.
