Everything in one visit

Walk in for anything from a sudden fever to a suspected fracture. Every service below is available same day, with no referral and no appointment.

Walk-in urgent care

Fever, flu, strep, UTIs, infections, allergic reactions, and minor injuries, diagnosed and treated in one visit under physician oversight.

Digital X-ray

On-site imaging for sprains, fractures, chest, ribs, and abdomen, read by the physician during your visit, usually within about ten minutes. No referral.

On-site lab testing

A CLIA-certified lab running CBC, chemistry, strep, flu, RSV, COVID, mono, UTI, and pregnancy, with most rapid results in 15 to 30 minutes.

Ultrasound and EKG

Point-of-care ultrasound for abdominal, pelvic, and soft-tissue imaging, plus a 12-lead EKG for cardiac evaluation, all on-site.

IV therapy and mobile drips

Physician-ordered IV formulas for dehydration, recovery, and immune support, in-clinic or by mobile IV to your hotel or condo.

Pediatric urgent care

Walk-in care for children three months and up: ear infections, strep, fevers, minor injuries, and rashes, in a family-friendly setting.

Residents and visitors

Built for the way Miami Beach lives and visits

The Beach runs on its own rhythm. Millions of visitors arrive each year, the seasons turn the population over, and a single day can mix sun, salt water, restaurant meals, and a late night out. Our physicians see the patterns that come with all of it.

South Beach visitors

Sunburn with blistering, heat exhaustion after hours on the sand, food-related illness, dehydration, and lacerations from broken glass on the beach are presentations our physicians treat daily, about eight minutes up the 71st Street corridor.

Mid-Beach and North Beach families

Families between 23rd and 87th Streets get one reliable walk-in clinic for adults and children alike, with pediatric care for children three months and older and the same on-site diagnostics in every visit.

Hotel guests

We welcome guests staying anywhere on the Beach. No Florida residency required. Our team speaks eight languages and handles self-pay, out-of-state, and international insurance, with most hotel concierges able to coordinate directly.

Convention and event attendees

Art Basel, Swim Week, boat shows, and conferences at the Miami Beach Convention Center bring tens of thousands of attendees. Late evening and weekend hours mean walk-in care for sudden illness, a refill, or an injury without leaving an event early.

Late-night recovery

Nightlife produces a steady pattern of next-day visits: dehydration, persistent nausea, minor lacerations, and allergic reactions, handled with a full exam, labs or imaging when indicated, and IV fluids if needed.

Prescriptions for travelers

Forgot a medication at home or lost a prescription on the road? Our physicians can issue new prescriptions or short-term refills, with CVS and Walgreens nearby to fill them the same day.

Saturday until 11 PM

Open 11 AM to 11 PM. No urgent care clinic in Miami Beach stays open later on a Saturday night, two hours past every other walk-in clinic in the area.

When the ER is the right call

Transparency builds trust. There are times when a hospital emergency room is the right level of care, and we will always tell you directly. The nearest hospital ER to the Beach is Mount Sinai Medical Center on Alton Road.

Life-threatening emergencies

For chest pain, stroke symptoms, severe trauma, difficulty breathing, or uncontrolled bleeding, call 911 or go directly to the nearest emergency room.

What urgent care saves you

An ER visit in Miami-Dade often takes three to five hours and costs thousands after facility fees. A TrufaMED visit averages 20 to 45 minutes and a fraction of the cost for conditions that do not need emergency resources.

We coordinate either way

If you walk in and need a higher level of care, our physician stabilizes you, calls ahead, and directs you to the right emergency department, so you are never left to figure it out alone.

Meet the physicians

Led by board-certified physicians

Our clinical leadership brings hospital-grade training in surgery and emergency medicine to a boutique walk-in setting. A board-certified physician leads every shift.

Medical Director
Dr. Shane D. Naidoo, MD
Board-Certified Emergency Medicine

Dr. Naidoo leads the clinical team as Medical Director. Board-certified in emergency medicine with deep experience in adult and pediatric emergency care, trauma, and critical care from high-volume emergency departments across the East Coast. He brings calm, decisive judgment to every visit.

Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Uri Gedalia, MD, FACS
Board-Certified General Surgeon · Fellow, American College of Surgeons

Dr. Gedalia is TrufaMED’s Chief Medical Officer and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Board-certified in general surgery with extensive experience in procedural medicine, wound care, and advanced diagnostics, he oversees clinical protocols across all TrufaMED services.

This physician-first approach is why TrufaMED carries Joint Commission accreditation, a distinction held by fewer than eight urgent care centers in the United States. It is the same standard your local hospital holds.

Urgent care in Miami Beach, answered

What residents, families, and visitors ask most before walking in.

What is the nearest urgent care to Miami Beach?

TrufaMED is at 9445 Harding Avenue in Surfside, directly between Miami Beach and Bal Harbour at the north end of the barrier island. It is about five minutes from North Beach, eight minutes from Mid-Beach, and eight to twelve minutes from South Beach up Collins Avenue or the 71st Street corridor. A board-certified physician leads every shift, and the clinic is Florida’s only Joint Commission-accredited urgent care.

Can I walk in, or do I need an appointment?

Walk in any time during open hours, seven days a week (Monday to Friday 9 AM to 9 PM, Saturday 11 AM to 11 PM, Sunday 12 PM to 8 PM). You can also check in online ahead of time at register.trufamed.com to capture your insurance and reason for visit, so you spend less time at the front desk. Pre-registered patients are usually seen within five to ten minutes of arrival.

How much does an urgent care visit cost without insurance?

A self-pay physician visit starts at $195. Common add-ons are priced up front: digital X-ray from $120, EKG from $110, and a rapid strep or flu test from $60. Final cost depends on the services you need, and pricing is shared before treatment begins, so there are no surprise bills. We accept all major credit cards, and this is a practical option for visitors and international guests.

Can hotel guests and visitors use TrufaMED?

Yes. A meaningful share of our patients are hotel guests and visitors. You do not need to be a Florida resident. We coordinate with concierge desks at Miami Beach properties including the Fontainebleau, Faena, The Setai, The Edition, 1 Hotel South Beach, Acqualina, and the St. Regis Bal Harbour. Our team speaks eight languages and handles self-pay, out-of-state, and international insurance.

How is TrufaMED different from the big urgent care chains?

TrufaMED is the only Joint Commission-accredited urgent care in Florida, a hospital-grade standard fewer than eight urgent care clinics nationwide have earned. A board-certified physician leads every shift, supported by experienced nurses. On-site digital X-ray, a CLIA-certified lab, ultrasound, and EKG mean diagnosis and treatment finish in a single visit, often in under an hour.

When should I go to the ER instead of urgent care?

Call 911 or go to a hospital emergency room such as Mount Sinai Medical Center on Alton Road for chest pain, difficulty breathing, stroke symptoms (facial drooping, arm weakness, speech difficulty), severe allergic reaction with throat swelling, heavy uncontrolled bleeding, compound fractures, seizures, or loss of consciousness. For everything short of that, the daily infections, injuries, and illnesses, TrufaMED is faster, less expensive, and equally effective.

Do you treat children at TrufaMED?

Yes. We provide pediatric urgent care for children three months and older, with a board-certified physician evaluating every child. We have pediatric-sized equipment, on-site rapid testing for strep, flu, COVID, and mono, and digital X-ray for suspected fractures. Infants under three months with a fever may be referred to the pediatric ER for a higher level of care.

Can I get an X-ray and lab results the same day?

Yes. TrufaMED has an on-site digital X-ray suite for sprains, fractures, chest, ribs, and abdomen, read by the physician during your visit, usually within about ten minutes. Our CLIA-certified lab runs rapid strep, flu, RSV, COVID, mono, urinalysis, pregnancy, basic chemistry, and CBC on-site, with most results in about 15 to 30 minutes. No separate imaging-center appointment is needed.

What insurance does TrufaMED accept?

We accept most major commercial plans, including Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Humana, Oscar Health (urgent care), Medicare, and Medicare Advantage, along with several Medicaid programs. We do not accept Tricare. Self-pay patients are always welcome with transparent, upfront pricing. Call (305) 537-6396 to confirm your specific plan before your visit.

Which Miami Beach ZIP codes does TrufaMED serve?

We regularly see walk-in patients from 33139 (South Beach), 33140 (Mid-Beach), 33141 (North Beach), 33154 (Surfside and Bal Harbour), 33160 (Sunny Isles Beach), 33162 (North Miami Beach), and 33180 (Aventura). Free parking is available directly in front of the clinic on Harding Avenue, with additional street parking nearby.
