Additional family members can be added for $5,000 per year each. The Signature tier can be structured for any family configuration with fully bespoke terms.

Your TrufaMED concierge physician does not replace emergency services for life-threatening emergencies — always call 911 in those situations. However, for urgent situations that fall short of a true emergency, your physician can often manage the problem via a house call or same-day clinic visit and keep you out of an emergency room entirely. If hospitalization is required, your physician advocates for you during admission, communicates directly with the hospital team, and coordinates your discharge and follow-up care. This continuity significantly reduces the fragmentation that causes medical errors during care transitions.

No. Your concierge membership fee covers physician access, coordination, and a defined set of included services. Health insurance remains necessary for hospitalizations, specialist visits, surgical procedures, and prescription medications. Many concierge members pair their membership with a high-deductible health plan to reduce insurance premiums while retaining the premium physician relationship. TrufaMED accepts most major insurance plans for services rendered in-clinic that are covered by your plan, including Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, Humana, and Oscar Health*. Self-pay is also welcome.

For urgent situations that do not require emergency services, your physician will assess via phone or text and determine whether a same-day house call or immediate clinic visit is more appropriate. Signature members have the highest house-call priority and can generally secure same-day or next-morning in-residence visits. All house calls include a portable diagnostic kit for point-of-care assessment.
