Fisher Island · Miami Beach · Bal Harbour · Brickell · Serving Miami-Dade County
TrufaMED provides concierge medicine for Fisher Island residents through physician house calls, private ferry coordination, and yacht visits. Board-certified physicians Dr. Uri Gedalia and Dr. Shane Naidoo offer 24/7 direct access, same-day appointments, and full-family care coordination from 9445 Harding Ave, Surfside, FL 33154 — 25 minutes by land and ferry, or accessible by private boat. Signature membership from $5,000 per month.
Medicine Delivered to Your Address.
Fisher Island is accessible by private ferry or boat — and so is your physician. TrufaMED Signature members receive priority scheduling for in-residence and onboard care visits. No waiting room. No island logistics to manage.
Private Ferry & Boat Access — Coordinated for You
Fisher Island lies just one nautical mile from Miami Beach. TrufaMED physicians travel by arrangement — scheduling is coordinated privately and discreetly through your physician’s direct line. For urgent matters, 25-minute total travel time (land plus ferry) is standard. Private boat access is available for members with marina berths.
Fisher Island’s 33109 zip code holds the distinction of Miami-Dade’s highest median household income — a community of principals who expect their physicians to match that standard. TrufaMED was built for exactly this expectation.
Dr. Uri Gedalia and Dr. Shane Naidoo are both board-certified, Joint Commission-verified, and available by direct phone to Signature members around the clock. They do not delegate urgent matters to staff. When you call, you reach a physician.
What a House Call Looks Like
A TrufaMED house call is a complete clinical encounter. Vitals, physical examination, point-of-care diagnostics, prescription authority, and coordination with any specialist or hospital system you prefer — all conducted in your residence, on your schedule, without an audience.
For yacht visits: your physician boards with a clinical kit that includes IV capabilities, point-of-care labs, and emergency medications appropriate for the setting. Yacht calls are scheduled a minimum of four hours in advance for safety coordination.
Concierge Pharmacy Integration
Signature members benefit from physician-coordinated pharmaceutical services. Prescriptions can be routed to a compounding pharmacy and delivered to your residence or marina, eliminating any need for a retail pharmacy visit. Specialty medications and IV formulations are coordinated directly through your physician.

What Separates This Practice.
Quality of care is expected at this price point. What distinguishes TrufaMED is the combination of clinical credentials, accreditation status, and the operational discipline to deliver premium medicine reliably.
What Concierge Medicine Actually Means Here.
Fisher Island is not a neighborhood. It is a private island — 215 acres accessible only by private ferry or boat — where average property values exceed $2 million and the majority of residents maintain multiple residences globally. The standard of service expected here is categorically different from what a typical concierge medicine practice delivers.
TrufaMED’s Signature membership was designed with this client profile in mind. Your physician is not a patient-volume provider. They carry a small panel by design. The result is a physician who knows your medical history, your preferences, your family’s needs, and your schedule — without being reminded.
Multilingual Physician Access
Fisher Island’s resident community spans Brazil, Russia, Israel, Venezuela, France, Italy, Argentina, and the United States. TrufaMED physicians collectively speak Russian, Portuguese, Spanish, French, Italian, Hebrew, and English. Care in your first language is not a courtesy — it is a clinical necessity. Nuance gets lost in translation. Here, it does not.
Emergency Physician Credentials — Why It Matters
Dr. Shane Naidoo holds board certification in Emergency Medicine. Dr. Uri Gedalia is board-certified in General Surgery. Both completed residencies in high-volume trauma environments before building TrufaMED. When an acute event occurs on Fisher Island — whether a cardiovascular concern, a surgical emergency, or a pediatric crisis — your physician does not refer the call. They assess, manage, and coordinate the appropriate level of care immediately.
This clinical depth is uncommon in concierge medicine. Most concierge practices are built around primary care models. TrufaMED’s physician team carries emergency and surgical credentialing that makes them equipped to respond to the full spectrum of events a private island environment may present.
International Travel Medicine
Signature members who travel internationally receive travel medicine consultations, destination-specific vaccination protocols, international pharmacy coordination, and a travel medical kit tailored to the itinerary. Your physician remains available by phone during travel. For extended international stays, TrufaMED can coordinate trusted physician contacts in destination cities.
Longevity & Preventive Medicine
Beyond acute care, Signature membership includes quarterly comprehensive health reviews focused on longevity and preventive medicine. These include advanced biomarker panels, body composition assessment, cardiovascular risk stratification, and physician-guided lifestyle optimization. Preventive medicine at this level is evidence-based, not supplement-driven. Your physician draws from peer-reviewed clinical literature and maintains awareness of your full health picture across every quarterly review.
Coordination with Your Existing Specialists
Many Fisher Island residents maintain relationships with specialists in New York, Los Angeles, London, or elsewhere. TrufaMED functions as the integrating physician — receiving records, coordinating pre-appointment lab work, attending to follow-up care, and ensuring nothing falls between providers. The Signature physician is your medical quarterback, not a replacement for the specialists you trust.
Who Signature Membership Serves
From First Call to Enrolled.
Signature membership begins with a private consultation — by phone or in person. No paperwork before the conversation. No portal to navigate. A physician speaks with you directly.
The Physicians Behind the Practice.
TrufaMED is physician-led at every level. The founders are the clinicians. There are no mid-level providers substituting for physician access in the concierge tier.
Dr. Gedalia is a board-certified general surgeon and the managing physician of TrufaMED. He oversees the concierge medicine program and maintains personal physician relationships with Signature members. Fluent in English, Hebrew, and conversational in additional languages, Dr. Gedalia brings surgical precision and preventive medicine depth to every patient relationship.
His clinical background spans trauma surgery, wound care, and comprehensive primary medicine — giving him an unusually broad scope for concierge practice.
Dr. Naidoo serves as TrufaMED’s Medical Director and brings emergency medicine board certification and residency experience from a high-acuity trauma center. His background makes him the physician of first contact when Signature members face acute or uncertain clinical situations.
Dr. Naidoo is multilingual and brings particular depth in emergency medicine, cardiology screening, and acute illness management. His presence in the practice means Fisher Island members have emergency-medicine-trained physician access at the concierge level — a combination that is genuinely rare.
Surfside Clinic. Fisher Island Delivery.
TrufaMED’s clinic is located at 9445 Harding Ave, Surfside, FL 33154 — 25 minutes from Fisher Island by land and ferry. For Signature members who prefer clinic visits, same-day appointments are held with zero waiting room exposure. Valet and private entry available by arrangement.
The Full TrufaMED Ecosystem.
Concierge medicine members receive priority access across every TrufaMED service line. IV therapy, HBOT, telehealth, and urgent care — all integrated under one physician relationship.
Questions About Fisher Island Care.
How does a physician reach Fisher Island for a house call?
TrufaMED physicians coordinate travel to Fisher Island by private ferry or by arrangement with the member’s preferred access method. Standard transit time is approximately 25 minutes from our Surfside clinic by car and ferry. For Signature members, scheduling is handled directly through your physician’s personal line. For yacht berth visits, a minimum of four hours advance notice is required for safety and logistics coordination.
What does the Signature membership cost and what does it cover?
Signature membership begins at $5,000 per month for family coverage, or $54,000 annually with priority scheduling guaranteed. It covers unlimited physician access for all primary household members, in-residence house calls, yacht visits, 24/7 telehealth, comprehensive annual physicals, wellness labs, concierge pharmacy coordination, specialist liaison, international travel medicine, and quarterly comprehensive health reviews. Additional residences can be accommodated by arrangement.
Is this service available year-round for seasonal Fisher Island residents?
Yes. Signature membership accommodates seasonal residency patterns. Many Fisher Island residents maintain the membership year-round for continuity of physician relationship and access during Miami season (October through May). Your physician retains your medical history and family health context regardless of season. Telehealth remains available when you are outside Miami.
Which languages do TrufaMED physicians speak?
TrufaMED’s clinical team collectively speaks more than eight languages — including Russian, Portuguese, Spanish, French, Italian, Hebrew, and English. For Fisher Island’s international resident community, care in a patient’s first language is a clinical priority, not a secondary accommodation. Please indicate your language preference at enrollment and we will ensure your primary physician match is appropriate.
Can TrufaMED coordinate care with my existing specialists in other cities?
Yes. Coordination with out-of-city and international specialists is a core function of the Signature membership. Your TrufaMED physician reviews specialist notes, manages pre-appointment lab work, follows up on recommendations, and ensures continuity between providers. If you have established relationships with physicians in New York, Los Angeles, London, or elsewhere, TrufaMED functions as the integrating physician for your Miami presence — not a replacement for those relationships.
What equipment does a physician bring on a house call or yacht visit?
Every TrufaMED physician visit to Fisher Island or a vessel includes a clinical kit with a fully equipped diagnostic set — stethoscope, blood pressure, pulse oximetry, 12-lead ECG capability, point-of-care rapid testing for common infections, glucometer, and a medication kit appropriate for the visit type. IV administration equipment is available for Signature members who incorporate IV therapy into their care plan. Advanced diagnostics requiring imaging are coordinated at the clinic same-day or next-day.
Is TrufaMED truly physician-led, or do staff substitute for physician access?
TrufaMED is physician-led at every level of the concierge program. Signature members are enrolled with a specific physician — Dr. Gedalia or Dr. Naidoo — who serves as their primary physician. Urgent calls and acute consultations go to that physician directly, not to a nurse line or on-call staff. This is a non-negotiable design principle of the practice. No mid-level providers substitute for physician access in the Signature tier.
How is privacy protected for high-profile members?
All patient relationships at TrufaMED are protected under HIPAA and physician confidentiality obligations. For Signature members with public profiles, additional protocols are available upon enrollment — including non-public appointment scheduling, discrete billing arrangements, and documented confidentiality agreements between the practice and household staff with clinical access. Patient names, visit frequency, and health information are never discussed outside the physician-patient relationship.
Does TrufaMED accept insurance for the concierge membership?
Concierge membership fees are self-pay and are not billed to insurance. Many Signature members use HSA or FSA accounts for eligible services. For specific medical services rendered during in-office visits — labs, imaging, procedures — insurance can be billed through TrufaMED’s CLIA-certified facility for covered members. Accepted carriers include Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, Humana, Oscar Health*, and Medicare. We do not accept or at this time.
What is the difference between concierge medicine and a standard primary care relationship?
The defining differences are access and panel size. Standard primary care physicians carry patient panels of 1,500 to 2,500 patients. TrufaMED’s Signature panel is a fraction of that — allowing genuine availability, extended appointment time, and a physician who knows your history without reviewing notes in the room. Concierge medicine also eliminates the scheduling friction — no referrals required for same-day visits, no waiting weeks for an appointment, no rotating provider pool. You have one physician. They are available.
Can TrufaMED serve estate or household staff on Fisher Island?
Yes. Many Signature members add household staff coverage as part of their membership arrangement. Domestic staff, security personnel, and estate management teams can be covered under a separate enrollment plan. This is handled as a discrete arrangement and can be structured to maintain appropriate privacy boundaries between employer and staff medical information.
Private Medicine. Properly Done.
Signature membership is available to a limited number of Fisher Island families. If you are considering a physician relationship that meets this standard, the first step is a private conversation.
