TrufaMED is the medical and IV wellness partner for Grand Beach Hotel guests. Our Joint Commission-accredited clinic sits directly across the street at 9445 Harding Ave in Surfside, so a walk-in visit is steps from the lobby. For IV therapy, a licensed nurse brings the full drip menu to your suite, set up in about ten minutes. Every order is approved by a board-certified physician. On-site digital X-ray, laboratory testing, ultrasound, and EKG, with many results back the same day. Convenient when you are traveling on a fixed schedule.

What can the urgent care clinic treat?

Do you offer testing and lab work for guests?
Yes. Guests have same-day access to digital X-ray, laboratory testing, confidential sexual health testing, COVID-19 testing, pre-operative clearance, substance screening, EKG, and respiratory testing. Our on-site lab returns many results the same day, which is convenient when you are traveling on a fixed schedule.
Who administers the IV and oversees my care?
A licensed registered nurse places and runs every IV using sterile, single-use equipment, and a board-certified physician approves each order before dispatch. A physician leads every shift at the clinic. We do not use medical assistants, trainees, or paramedics for IV therapy. Every drip is documented in your medical record.
Do you accept insurance, or is this self-pay?
Urgent care and diagnostic visits can be billed to most insurance plans. IV therapy and elective wellness services are self-pay; we accept all major credit cards, HSA and FSA, and Apple Pay. The Grand Beach guest offer applies to self-pay IV and wellness services only.
