The average door-to-doctor wait is short because we cap daily volume to protect quality, and most visits run about 23 minutes from arrival to discharge, longer if you need X-ray plus multiple labs and an IV.

We treat the full range of non-emergency illness and injury: colds and flu, strep, sinus and ear infections, UTIs, allergies, asthma flare-ups, pink eye, rashes, sprains and fractures, lacerations that need stitches, burns, dehydration, and migraines. We also handle sports, school, and immigration physicals, and we e-prescribe to any pharmacy in Miami-Dade.

Yes. We have a digital X-ray suite for fractures, dislocations, and pneumonia, read by a physician in about ten minutes. Our CLIA-certified lab runs rapid strep, flu, RSV, COVID, mono, urinalysis, pregnancy, CBC, and metabolic panels on-site, with results in about 15 to 30 minutes. We also offer point-of-care ultrasound and a 12-lead EKG. Everything is read the same visit, which is why most visits finish quickly.

A board-certified physician leads every shift and is involved in your care, supported by experienced nurses. Our Medical Director is Dr. Shane D. Yes. We provide pediatric urgent care for children three months and older: ear infections, strep, fever, cough, flu, minor injuries, rashes, pink eye, and UTIs, with pediatric-sized equipment and physicians experienced with children. For infants under three months with concerning symptoms, we evaluate and refer to pediatric emergency care when warranted.

Come to TrufaMED for non-life-threatening problems like infections, minor injuries, fevers, UTIs, sprains, and dehydration. Go to the nearest emergency room or call 911 for emergencies such as chest pain, stroke symptoms, severe difficulty breathing, major trauma, or uncontrolled bleeding. If you are in Brickell and the situation is a true emergency, use a downtown emergency department. When the picture is unclear, our physicians triage and escalate to the ER when the findings warrant it.
