Joint Commission AccreditedTrufaMED is at 9445 Harding Avenue in Surfside, two blocks west of Bal Harbour Shops and about a two-minute drive south of the Village of Bal Harbour. It is the closest Joint Commission-accredited urgent care to every Bal Harbour address, the only accredited urgent care in Florida and one of just eight nationwide. A board-certified physician leads every shift, with digital X-ray, labs, ultrasound, and EKG on-site so most visits finish in 20 to 45 minutes.
When the answer needs an X-ray, a lab, or both, we do them in the same visit, not across three appointments in a week. Every service below is walk-in, no referral required.
Fever, flu, strep, UTIs, infections, allergic reactions, and minor injuries, diagnosed and treated in one visit under physician oversight.
Digital X-ray for sprains, fractures, chest, ribs, and abdomen, with same-day results read by a physician in about ten minutes. No referral.
A CLIA-certified lab running rapid strep, flu, COVID, RSV, urinalysis, pregnancy, glucose, and basic chemistries, with results during your visit.
Point-of-care ultrasound for abdominal, pelvic, and soft-tissue imaging, plus a 12-lead EKG for cardiac evaluation, all on-site.
Physician-ordered IV therapy for dehydration, hangover, and immune support, in-clinic or by mobile IV at your Bal Harbour residence.
Walk-in care for children three months and up: ear infections, strep, fevers, rashes, and minor injuries, in a calm, family-friendly setting.
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy for recovery, wound healing, and post-procedure care, available by appointment at the Surfside clinic.
Comprehensive testing services and confidential health screening, with same-day results and physician review for most panels.
Physician-led telehealth visits for refills, minor concerns, and follow-ups, when an in-person exam is not required.
Bal Harbour residents expect speed, privacy, and a physician who answers, not a crowded chain or a long ER wait. TrufaMED is the closest accredited option, with the same Joint Commission standard major hospitals are held to, and a private, boutique setting built for the way the neighborhood lives.
